About me . . .

My name is Melissa and I am a full time wife, mother and teacher, but before I became any of these things I was a cooking fanatic. If you’ve read my 1st post you may already know that I am an American born Chinese. My parents are 100% Chinese by way of Jamaica. I grew up in South Florida but moved to Georgia for college. I’ve also lived in Boston, MA but then returned to live in Georgia. So what does that all mean? It means there are a lot off different cultural influences going on here.

I may be Chinese but we eat and cook all sorts of foods, and when I cook it is my opinion that food tastes so much better when others enjoy it too. Seriously . . . cooking and sharing the final product brings me joy, so I’d like to share that joy with you!
